Delete Your Data

This page explains how to delete the data associated with BaseVault, the Clash of Clans companion app published by AppHub Tech Inc. BaseVault has no accounts — no login, email, or password — so there is no profile to close. Most of your data (favorites, filters, language, and your Vault access codes) lives only on your device. The only data stored on our servers is what you add to a Vault and, if you enable notifications, a device push token. Here is exactly how to delete each.

Delete data from within the app

• Delete a base or army you added — open the item in your Vault and delete it. Vault leaders (with the manage code) can delete any upload in the Vault.
• Delete an entire Vault — with the manage code, delete the whole Vault from Vault settings. This permanently removes every base, army, image, note, display name, and the stored (hashed) access codes for that Vault from our servers.
• Leave a Vault — remove a Vault and its codes from your device without deleting the shared Vault for others.
• Turn off notifications — disabling notifications in the app removes your device push token from our servers.
• Uninstall the app — removing BaseVault deletes all of its on-device data, including your favorites, settings, and stored Vault codes.

Ask us to delete it for you

If you can’t use the app — for example, you no longer have the device — email [email protected] from any address and include your Vault’s member code or manage code (or enough detail to identify the Vault). We’ll delete the associated Vault data on your behalf. Because there are no accounts, the access code is how we locate the right data.

What is deleted, and what is kept

• Deleted: when you delete a Vault (or we delete it for you), we permanently remove its bases, armies, images, notes, chosen display names, and the one-way hashes of its access codes. When you turn off notifications, your push token is deleted.
• Kept: nothing is tied to an account, because there are no accounts. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard request data such as IP address transiently to deliver content and protect the service from abuse; it is not used to identify or profile you and is not retained as part of your Vault.
• Timing: deletions take effect immediately. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.

Ads and purchases

The free version shows ads through third-party networks (Google AdMob, Unity Ads, Pangle) that collect some advertising data under their own policies — see the Privacy Policy. Upgrading to BaseVault Pro stops all ad-network data collection. Purchases are handled by the app store; we never store your payment details.
