Getting started
How do I get a base or army into Clash of Clans?
Open any base or army and tap Copy to Game. BaseVault hands it straight to Clash of Clans with the layout or army loaded, ready to paste — no copying long codes by hand. Clash of Clans needs to be installed; if it isn’t, BaseVault offers to open the App Store.
A base won’t import, or it mentions the wrong Town Hall.
Clash of Clans only lets you paste a layout into a base at the same Town Hall level (it allows one level of difference for placement). BaseVault shows each layout’s target Town Hall — pick one that matches your account. Armies have no such restriction.
Why don’t I see today’s bases yet?
The daily feed rolls in around mid-day UTC. Pull down to refresh once it lands. If today hasn’t published, the most recent batch is still there to browse from the Layouts and Armies tabs.
The Vault
What is the Vault?
The Vault is your clan’s private, shared library of go-to war bases and armies — each with a screenshot, optional notes (“use vs maxed TH16”), and the strategy video. There are no accounts: access is a short code your leader shares in clan chat.
How do I create a Vault and invite my clan?
Go to the Vault tab → Create a Vault, give it a name, and pick what your clanmates should call you. You’ll get a member code — post it in clan chat. Anyone who enters it joins instantly.
How do I join my clan’s Vault?
Vault tab → Open a Vault → enter the member code your leader shared. That’s it — no sign-up.
What’s the difference between the member code and the manage code?
The member code lets anyone view the Vault and add their own bases and armies. The manage code — for leaders and co-leaders — does everything a member can, plus edit, reorder, or delete any upload, rotate both codes, rename the Vault, or delete it entirely.
I lost my codes, or a code leaked.
Open your Vault and tap Manage to view the codes any time. If a code got out, use the manage code to Rotate codes — the old ones stop working immediately, and everyone is notified to re-enter the new member code.
How do I add a base or army to the Vault?
On any base or army, tap the lock icon to add it to your active Vault. You can also tap + inside the Vault to add one manually with your own screenshot and share link.
BaseVault Pro
What does BaseVault Pro unlock?
Pro gives you multiple Vaults (up to 15 — handy if you run feeder clans or several clans) and removes ads. It’s $12.99 lifetime, or $5.99/year or $1.99/quarter. The full daily feed and one Vault are always free.
I bought Pro on another device — how do I restore it?
As long as you’re signed in to the same Apple ID, Pro restores automatically. If it doesn’t, open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases.
How do I manage or cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your device, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions (or the App Store → your profile → Subscriptions) to change or cancel. A lifetime purchase never renews and nothing to cancel.
App & settings
How do I turn notifications on or off?
In the app, open Settings → Notifications, or use iOS Settings → BaseVault → Notifications. Notifications are optional and used mainly for Vault activity, like a code rotation.
Can I change the language or appearance?
Yes. Settings → Language switches between twelve languages instantly, no relaunch. Settings → Appearance sets light, dark, or follow-the-system.
Why am I seeing ads, and how do I remove them?
The free version is ad-supported: ads appear in the browse feed, and copying a base or army into the game is unlocked by watching a short rewarded ad — for both the daily feed and your clan Vault. BaseVault Pro removes every ad and gives you unlimited one-tap copying. On first launch you’re asked whether ad networks may track you for personalized ads; decline and you’ll still see ads, just non-personalized ones. Change it any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
What about my privacy?
No accounts, ever — the Vault is code-gated and you choose what goes in it. The free version shows ads through Google AdMob, Unity, and Pangle and asks your tracking permission on first launch; BaseVault Pro removes all ads. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Is BaseVault made by Supercell? I’m a creator and want my content removed.
No — BaseVault is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Supercell. Bases, armies, and videos are independently rendered snapshots of publicly shared content, and we link out to the original creators.
